sERVICE PROJECT TO Support Music Therapy at UCSF benioff Children's Hospital

iPods touches are loaned to kids in the hospital when going through treatment. They are also given to kids who can't afford or don't have their own.

iTunes gift cards will be used to purchase a variety of music for the program and individuals.

Headsets are over-the-ear for better fit and also for sanitary reasons.

Our goal is to purchase:

20 new iPod Touch

$5000 in iTunes music

40 headsets

For my service project we've looked at a lot of different ways you can give and at different levels.  The main thing is to do something!

I'd like to be able to track our progress, so if you donate directly, please let me know so I can give you credit!!

click the "Donate" button below to see all the ways you can donate.

My name is Catherine Flaherty, and I am in the 9th grade. I am continuing my service project from last year at my previous middle school, The Presentation School. I am passionate about music, and I know first-hand how it can be a powerful healing force to elevate emotions and fill one's mind and soul with happiness. I want to bring this power to children and teens who are battling cancer.

I am supporting the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital, Music Therapy department to donate iPods, music and headsets, and I would like your help.
